Penis Canina

Penis Canina is a unique mix of dark genius, extreme dumbfucking, terrible laziness, and pure luck. The band was started in 2013. The lineup was Kosx (from Frakasu) on guitar, Alex (lots of noise projects) on vocals, and Max (Death Before Revolution) on drums. In the beginning it was the most pathetic noisecore and noisepunk ever, but anyway, our first failed rehearsals went straight to international split tapes. First songs had no lyrics, but all three guys loved languages and world cultures, so we decided: every song must be in a different language. That’s how we got tracks in German, Czech, Estonian, Esperanto, Swahili and English. In 2014 Max left, and two guys came: Nikita on drums and George on guitar (both from Marrowdeath), and we made more cheap dictaphone splits. But by the end of the year, the band broke up.
In 2024 we finished a semi-studio EP and tried a reunion with a new drummer Plyukhin, but the band broke up again, no gigs happened, but we recorded new dictaphone splits with international bands. Overall we played a few cool gigs (with many sessional musicians) like with Sete Star Sept (Japan), I.Know (Belarus) and at the big noisecore fest "Optimalinija".

Interesting facts about Penis Canina:

1. The band has more releases than real songs. The tracklist is almost the same everywhere.
2. Our only good EP "Koermunn" is just 7 minutes long, but it was being recorded for 10 years.
3. Guitarist Kosx is an Esperanto activist, he produced "Esperanto Subgrunde 2", the biggest international Esperanto punk compilation, with Penis Canina on it.
4. Max speaks English, German, Esperanto, French, Spanish and Chinese. He plays grindcore and noise, but he also finished music school for bassoon. Plus he is a programmer and a master of sports in weightlifting.
5. Vocalist Alex has more than 40 solo harsh noise projects.
